Your Role
As a Senior Project Manager at our company, you drive complex projects from start to finish. You ensure delivery on time, within budget, and with the right quality - while simultaneously creating momentum within the organization.

An important part of the role is also to develop our ways of working. You help build structure, improve processes, and contribute to raising the level of how we work with project management. You will handle projects with varying complexity, ranging from technically advanced assignments to customer-centric solutions that require outstanding communication and negotiation skills.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Responsibility for contract scope, budget, cost control, and schedules.
• Identify and manage risks and opportunities within the projects.
• Communicate with project stakeholders, including steering groups, internal and external customers.
• Lead and motivate the project team to ensure successful project delivery.

You will also have the opportunity to actively contribute to future business by working on bids and contracts. Furthermore, we offer a flexible work environment where you can influence and improve our ways of working and processes.

Your Profile
To succeed in this role, you are an experienced project manager who is confident in your role and accustomed to taking responsibility for the whole. You have the ability to combine structure with flexibility and get people to work towards common goals. You have previous experience as a project manager and a good understanding of project management methodology. You have a good economic understanding and the ability to view projects from a holistic perspective.

We see that you have:

• Several years of experience in project management.
• Experience in production management or industry.
• Good understanding of series production.
• Experience in monitoring time, cost, and quality.
• Very good communication skills in Swedish and English.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience in improvement work.
• Experience in change management.
• Experience in developing project models and ways of working.

Saab operates in a high-tech industry, but a technical background is not necessary. We place great emphasis on your personal qualities, as for the right person, we can offer the training and competence-developing measures required to succeed in the role. The role involves travel both within Sweden and abroad, giving you the chance to build and strengthen customer relations nationally and globally.

The position requires that you undergo and are approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
